I took this video while I was sailing on a highly modified Seawind 34 (extended transoms, bigger rig with high tech sails) owned by a hard driving racing owner. As you can see, the Mirage was going at a similar speed, about 9 knots, despite having a young family on board and only dacron sails. We were sailing in flat water, but the powerboat wake didn't seem to slow the Mirage down.
